Over on Boing Boing there's a story about a coat that got killed because it grew to big for it's incubator. You read that right. It was a coat made of embryonic mouse cells that were still viable. It grew faster than expected, apparently, and had to be euthanized by the curator of the exhibit.
I'm not sure I can even begin to describe how freaky and disturbing I find the whole story...every aspect of it. |
