But cheesier and more expensive. Today's module was absolutely atrocious. There's a part of me that wants a drink justto get the taste out of my mouth. A beer, vodka...jaeger. Not Strega, though - Strega's strictly for fun.
It was a different instructor this time. His favorite sentence structure was: "I don't mean/want to, but..." "I don't mean to offend anyone, but..." "I don't want to tell you how to live, but..." And he's supposedly a psychologist, too. Rarely ever have I felt such a desire to flee as I did this morning...I wished he would pop in the video and shut the hell up. Then he did pop in the video and I was sorry the universe had granted my wish. The cheesiest, most stereotypical and...only vaguely plausible crap I've seen yet. Well, most of what we've seen has been documentary-style, so that's not saying much. But still - tell me this line isn't gods-awful: "The heart of a child is soft, embrace it." Go on, I dare you. I'll wait till you've heaved your breakfast.
The part that really gets me though is...do they honestly think that this kind of bullshit is going to help people? No wonder DUI's are rising in this state... |
