Busy day
The house still looks like crap - but the yard looks incredible. I added two roses, two verbena plants and a rose geranium a friend saved from the dumpster. I also put down stepping stones as I noticed people walking through the garden bed, and one of the apartment-mates gave me some that he's stocked for his back yard. And then I spent some time evening out the dirt levels.

It was a hell of a lot of work, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. The extra plants really filled out the garden, and the stepping stones pulled it all together. Pictures tomorrow.
